Stump pulling · snatch block planner

Tira-Troncos

Pick a template or type a ratio, then drag pieces to match your yard. Every rope leg, block, strap, and anchor shows its live, angle-aware load against your gear's ratings.

Planning aid only — not a safety rating. Real anchors, angles, friction, and stump resistance vary. Pre-filled rope, winch, and anchor figures are rough typical values, not your gear's ratings. Always stay under manufacturer WLL with a safety margin, never exceed rated hardware, and keep people out of the line of pull.

How the math works
  • Winch pull comes from the drum layer the rope is leaving. Rope paid out = length of the routed rope; what's left on the drum sets the layer, and the layer table sets the pull.
  • Friction: every snatch block the rope runs through cuts the tension on the next leg by the friction %.
  • Block load = vector sum of the rope legs on that block. Parallel legs (180° fold) ≈ 2× tension; wider angles carry less.
  • Anchor / stump load = vector sum of every rope end and block strap on it. Stump pull is the size of that resultant. Effective MA = stump pull ÷ winch line pull.
  • Rope WLL = minimum breaking strength ÷ your safety factor. Anchor ratings are rough rules of thumb unless you enter your own.
  • Colors: green under 80% of the rating, yellow 80–100%, red over.
